Abstract Painting Style

I painting this with an Intuitional style and color layering approach which is taught in this course. I painted the first layer with cool colors only (green, blue, purple only) and let it dry. The second layer of paint I used warm colors only (red, pink, yellow, orange) and let it dry.

I used strokes in varying sizes, and shapes. Basically just "felt" through each brush stroke and often used music to capture the energy. For the second last layer, I used a very pale color (white paint with a tinge of pink) to paint the white space around my final design. I left most of the focal point and shapes in the middle of the canvas.

For the final layer, I used fine tipped waterbased paint markers to accentuate certain intricate designs that called out to me.
